First Day of School!
There's lots to blog about these days but I haven't got onto the computer much in the last week!
Today, Tristan and Justin started their first day of school. We got up nice and early today, the kids had showers, we had breakfast together, and then we did our daily devotion and prayed before leaving. Despite it being the first day, and all of the traffic, we were on time! Going through two car pool lanes in the morning wasn't bad at all, since they have it down to a science.
Today's devotion was taken from Luke:25-30 and was about not letting your peers push you into obeying them, instead of God. It was a pretty timely devotion given Tristan is starting middle school today. I can hardly believe it!
I met both of their teachers yesterday and from first impressions, I was pleased. I plan to work closely with both of them this year to ensure the boys have a good year! It's a new school for both boys since I recently moved, but they are both excellent schools. I was very anxious about Tristan going to middle school but God has given me tremendous peace today.
