Mmmm. Free Brie on Free Crackers. Free Pot Roast Stew.

I'm enjoying a yummy lunch of brie on crackers, with pot roast stew. All free. I've been using coupons and fliers lately, and I'm so addicted to saving money. Last night I shopped and got $237.00 worth of food for $139.00, and my freezer is jam packed. What I've started doing is getting the fliers for the 4 neighborhood grocery stores, and buying all the items that interest me on the buy one get one free list. Man, I'm getting twice as much food for almost half price. Yesterday I got 3 half gallons of ice cream for the price of one, for a savings of $10.58. Before I started doing this, I spent about $400/month on food for the three of us. Now, I'm spending $265 a month. The best deal is, I have more food than when I was spending $400, on top of spending much less. Since I have more, I only need to shop twice a month, instead of every week, so I'm also saving time. This rocks. I've found that by going to all 4 stores, I get just about everything I would need on the buy one get one free sales, and only need to buy about 3 things extra outside of that. Since I get the extra free item, I often only have to buy crackers, for example, once a month. When it's time to shop again, I still have items left. I have about 5 boxes of cereal and 4 bottles of juice in my pantry. It's really crazy to have more food, and be spending less money. I'll never go back to the old way I used to shop! Oh, and I paid $1.48 a gallon for gas today. It cost me $19 to fill my tank. I know that deflation is bad, but it sure feels good.
