Movies, Music and Other Musings
I went to see the new James Bond movie yesterday, Quantum of Solace. I think I liked Casino Royale better, but it still was quite good. I liked it.
My last Saturday Night Movie® was The Man Who Knew Too Much, with James Stewart and Doris Day.
On the guitar front, I learned Julia, by John Lennon (Did I already mention that?) and I just learned Message in a Bottle, by The Police. Some of the chords in Julia are really difficult, not to form, but to get a clean strum because you have to press so hard. It takes some finger strength to play that song well. Message in a Bottle is suprisingly and pleasantly easy. But it rocks nonetheless.
I've started doing a Bible study with some of the ladies in my home fellowship group. We're studying the 10 Lies that Women Believe.
I've got some interesting things going on in the career front, but those are percolating, and I'm not ready to blog about those ideas yet.
My friends Brian and Denise dedicated their baby last night. Her name is Savannah Grace. What a cutie she is. I have some pictures to put up here, but I'm being lazy today.
Last night I took the kids shopping for new socks. I am so done playing the "find two socks that match out of these 500 in the basket" game and losing. So I'm throwing the basket of socks out and starting over. Victory is mine. Ha!
