Stevie is Home!
I brought Stevie home today from Carolina Veterinary Specialists. I really can't say enough about how amazing they are there. First of all, they charged me $300 less than the low end of the quote, and $900 less than the high end of the quote. Also, they took fantastic care of my sweet kitty. They trained me on how to administer his meds, food and water through the gastro tube, and actually, other than the temporary increase in frequency, it's much, much easier than the syringe feeding that I was doing. I've already completed a round of meds, food and water, and it went famously.
I'm going to be working remotely for several days so that I can give him the post-operative care that he needs. I am feeling really good about the decision now that I have him home.
